Losing your loved one due to depression sounds scary, right? So ACT NOW before its too late!
Here we will discuss what to do if your loved one is in depression.
- If you know someone who is behaving in a different manner than his usual behavior, then try talking with him. He may need your help.
- Never leave your friend alone. Since a lonely person becomes more depressed.
- Go to shopping together! Yes, you heard it right! A person who is depressed may feel better after shopping!
- Have breakfast/lunch/dinner together.
- Stay away from social media at least for 3 hours everyday! Since the longer you stay on social media, the more you are going to feel sad. Since many people focus only on their profile pictures, likes and comments which is a complete waste of time. If you have the time for social media, give that time to your loved one instead!
- If you love cooking, Cook your friend’s favorite dish.
- Give him/her a surprise gift! It doesn’t have to be very expensive to surprise him/her. Even the smallest of gifts may make a person’s day!
- Go for a walk! People often say that walking is good for health. You can go out for a walk with your friend instead and have long conversations too. You never know he might tell you how is he feeling right now!
- Go for movies! If you know his/her favorite actors/actresses, that will be a more good thing! You can go to a movie of his/her choice!
- Listen to music with your friend! Listening to music makes a person feel better!
- Have a get together with her old friends! Meeting old friends can be a nice way to make him/her happy!
